Time-map 2014 – January Full Moon

A new year, a new challenge. For me that is. As from now I will do my best to post as many of my blogs in English as I can. Starting with this first time map for 2014 that is related to the Full Moon of January. (Klik hier als je in het Nederlands wilt lezen)

I’m using the energy of the Full Moon to create a time map that can be used as a directive and that creates a support in guiding you through the year. I think it is just wonderful to notice how the Full Moon can shine a different light on any given situation. This light being far more a sensitive, intuïtive and feminine one. A light that doesn’t blind, but highlights what normally prefers to lay dormant in the shadow of our excistence. Being that tremendously interesting talents and qualities, or maybe itches and aches you’re not so proud off and you rather like to forget.

Using the specific energies of every Full Moon, is a way to go on a path of selfdiscovery and -development. A path that will certainly make you look back at the end of year, realizing you didn’t think of coming this far just by using Full Moon energy as a new beacon of light. You’ll be surprised!

The setup of this time map is familiar to people who have read my blog before. However using a different language now, might open up a new approach to something I have written about a lot. So it’ll probably surprise me too!

Please do let me know if you find errors in syntax or grammar; I’m a learning human being. I hope you’ll enjoy the time map through the year and looking forward receiving your comments. Please feel free to respond!

January 16, 2014 – 05:53am(1) in Cancer – Wolf Moon or Hunger Moon – Cleansing: Clearing out even the last parts of the old in order to liberate oneself from the burden

For most of us, December has been a month of celibration, of gathering with family and friends whilst enjoying tasty, copious meals and drinks. Often in such an indulging way that it might have left you overly satisfied or even dissatisfied, maybe even punch-drunk. The energy of the December month however, is one of withdrawel from the outer world into a kind of hibernating state. The nature of this energy is such that it can help you come into contact with the deeper depths of the hidden emotional realms; with the deeper parts of ones psyche. This process normally – for instance in nature – is accompanied by less eating and drinking, just on the verge of fasting.

Now, fasting is a way to let go of old stuff that clog’s your body. But it also can help you gain more mental clarity. Processing food takes up an enormous amount of energy and eliminating the process of digesting food, makes this energy available for other things. Such as clearing your mind in order to gain a clear focus on the year that lies ahead of us.

If you did make use of the December energies to clear and cleanse your system, the energy of the Full Moon of January can be used to sort of look under the carpet for the little bits and pieces that crawelled away from under your attention. To – maybe literally – open the cupboards of your mind and look what is hiding behind the visual things you have stashed there and perform a cleansing on a deeper level. Now you probably have worked your way through recent, maybe painful, experiences and sorted them out; you learned from them and integrated them into your system so that they can become of use to you.

But how about the smalll details that you have overlooked before. Little itches and pains that probably date back a long time ago and are left forgotten in the nooks and crannies of your mind, just waiting to take controle. Those things that have remained unsolved, unreleased over a longer period of time. Maybe even through different lifetimes.

The Full Moon of January invites you to go even deeper into the release of pain and suffering and really, really surrender to the nothingness, the big void being the source of life from which all new is derived and in which everything is dissolved. It is there where you can contact that which strives to become manifest in the year that lies ahead of us.

Feng Shui                                                                                                                                        In Feng Shui this source of life is related to the water element, the most Yin element of all. It is cold, dark and mysterious, just like you can experience in the darkest of winter. It is in the deepest of waters that things go on that one cannot even imagine possible, both horrendously terrifying and also incredibly wonderful. The water element therefore being the source of possibilities and full of potential, just waiting to become manifest. However, the water element also keeps hidden your biggest fears and trauma’s. To dive into that and acknowledge these fears and pains but at the same time focus your search on the treasures that also hide beneath the surface of your day to day persona, needs courage and a brave heart. It is your heart that is capable of producing enough love to disarm any monster and give you the courage to face it. Because unconditional love never rejects anything and is both willing and capable of accepting everything not matter how gross. It is this love that, while facing your own possible death through starvation, will make you share your last piece of bread with others, regardless of who they are, and leave you tremendously satisfied. Within a couple of days I will post the Nine Star Ki predictions for 2014, that will make clear that 2014 will be dominated by the theme of love and connection.

So scrape together your last breadcrumbs, your last securities in life and stop holding on to them in an attempt to survive the tidal wave of the January Full Moon. The Full Moon that wants you to howl with the wolves, and to loosen up the limitations of your known persona and become part of their pack; one amongst others. The Full Moon that wants you to empty your stomach in order to clear your mind and truly feel that you are alive, ready and eager to face yet another year full of possibilities and potential. It is this Full Moon that marks a turning point and gives you the opportunity to proceed as usual or to choose different. It’s all up to you.

    Hi Nina,
This is brilliant. It could have been written for me personally right now as an antidote for the crappy stuff going on in my life at this time.I,m sure it works the same for all your other readers too.I read it yesterday afternoon, went to work, and nobody came to dinner! So I thought ,everybody is fasting!Good stuff! I spent the evening making a new friend over a drink,so that,s the nice side of quiet nights. I love the English with a very slight Dutch accent! Don,t change a thing.XX

    1. Dear Penny,
Thank you for your response! Sorry to hear that there’s a lot of crap going on right now. But then again, as you always say, something good has to come from it. Like a new friend. I think writing in English with a Dutch accent must be very interesting to read :-). Thanks!! XXX Nina
