Time-Map 2015: Nine Star Ki profile of the November Full Moon

Beginning Jung Nina-Elshof-Feng-Shui

The Full Moon of today shines her light on the accompanying Nine Star Ki profile 3 – 5 – 3.

November 25, 2015 – 11:44pm in Gemini – Blood Moon – Survival: The simplicity of survival; taking precautionary measures to be able to survive through winter

The Nine Star Ki profile of today is: 3 – 5 – 3 – It’s characteristics are upheaval and new beginnings versus maturing into conscious responsibility.

There’s an interesting Nine Star Ki profile active at this month’s Full Moon. Interesting, yet not at all easy to handle. More so it is one of the hardest profiles to deal with! It puts two elements together that are complete opposites in everything they do, think, breath and represent. The two 3-Wood elements don’t relate in any way to the 5-Earth element that occupies the center position of this profile.

For 5-Earth this is a comfortable position; in the Ba Gua the 5 also inhabits the centre position. 5-Earth can be seen as the representative of us as autonomous, healthy, adult human beings that are capable of governing our own lives. 5-Earth represents us as the king or queen reigning our domain which we inhabit on this planet, or as the dictators we can be that force our will onto others and demand obedience to rules set. It can also point towards the conservative and condescending father (or mother) in us or in society  that we have to deal with. 5-Earth is connected to everything stable, secure, safe, known, traditional, established and everything necessary to lead a safe, secure, healthy and comfortable life. It is the element that says No to change. In a mature form it represents us taking responsibility for who we are, what we’ve done and what we’re suppose to achieve in this lifetime.

Birth Jung Nina-Elshof-Feng-Shui
Amen, you are the lord of the beginning. Amen, you are the star of the East. Amen, you are the flower that blooms over everything. Amen, you are the deer that breaks out of the forest. Amen, you are the song that sounds far over the water. Amen, you are the beginning and the end.                        C.G. Jung – the Red Book

3-Wood on the other hand is the radical, the seeker, the dreamer and the warrior that wants to throw all these conservative, restricting, boring and limiting qualities overboard. It is the bringer and initiator of new life, new beginnings and new paradigms. 3-Wood is an element that never forgets and at the same time is generous in forgiving; it doesn’t like to be stuck in despair and revanche. It is on one hand the creator of fantasies and ideas, opening up the world for much needed inspiration and hope. On the other hand it is obstinate and likes to kick every boundary or limitation in the bud. It is the element that says Yes to life. In a mature form it is open to connecting with everybody that likes to connect too, creating a web of generous, likeminded equals.

Since in the Nine Star Ki profile of this month, two 3-Wood elements are present, the 3-Wood qualities will be doubled up and it intensifies what they love to do: creating room for new by upsetting the status-quo, or creating a wonderful fluffy-bunny world in which everything can be solved be love alone. And, since an energetic cyclical connection with 5-Earth is lacking in this profile, those two woodies can get kind of out of control in either state of creation.

What started with the crash of the Russian airliner, one month ago, when the previous Nine Star Ki profile started subsiding and the profile of this Full Moon started to become active, seems to have come to culmination in Paris. But I’m afraid that a final culmination might remain in the offing.

Now 3-Wood is not an element that’s out there looking to destroy just for destroying sake. 3-Wood represents the new that wants to come in, the baby that wants to be born. And like with childbirth, the coming into being of the new is accompanied with pain, upsetting of emotions, general upheaval and a change in the existing status quo and paradigm in such a way that the change is irreversible. Once a child is born it can’t be unborn, also the parents are forever to be a mom and dad; that never can be undone. Breaching through established structures is therefore necessary.

Looking at what is going on in the world right now, we’re facing a scenario of fear being created through various very aggressive terrorist attacks and the presence of a constant threat for more terrorism lying dormant in the suburbs of the neglected and overlooked corners of our social tissue.

Yes, that’s a very negative situation hardly related to this ‘wonderful new’ that 3-Wood idealistically wants to bring into our world. But for a young woman to become mother, she has to loose her virginity and face the trial of labor; she has to grow up into a new state of womanhood. As do we, both as a society and as individuals. We have to grow into a new state of humanity and maturity. This comes with facing and accepting the responsibilities of past actions and the shadows they’ve created in our social tissue, both in society and in our personal lives. We have to recognize them, embrace them, integrate them and then move on into the newly created.

However, mind the gap of idealism and of the dreamworld filled with fantasies as 3-Wood also can turn into the idealist dreaming of a better world in which everybody loves their neighbor, neglecting the day-to-day responsibilities. Or go wild on crazy and dark fantasies in which every muslim is a terrorist, every woman is a whore, all presidents are conspirators, all the bad only happens to little you and the world is doomed. So don’t neglect that what is not good in your life by gazing away from it, like governments tell us to do. Nor should you loose your connection with reality by thinking we are all condemned. We are not. There is just a new reality kicking in. One that demands you to become the mature man or woman going through the process of labor and become your own parent; to be the baby that consciously wants to start a new life that is yet completely uncertain and unknown, but taking on the responsibilities that come with having a physical body; and to be completely in the present and aware of all that is happening. And yes, it will take some time to process, so schedule time to ease, be at peace, rest and digest.

Master your birth into the new!

December 25, 2015 – 12:11pm in Cancer – Long Night’s Moon  – Cleansing: Letting go of the old in order to gain strength to hive the new

This year the focus of the Time-Maps will be on the Nine Star Ki profile of the Full Moon that is active. It will be a moment in time that I’d like to connect to the Five Elements that are so precious to me and which I work with a lot in my Feng Shui work. These Time-Map blogs will be accompanied by blogs that go deeper into explaining the workings of Nine Star Ki, the archetypal qualities of the Five Elements and how they can be used to understand how the energy of the universe and the earth operate in our lives and influence us.

Now this is an experiment and I really like to hear from you how you receive and experience this explanation of the energetic blueprint that is at work at a specific Full Moon of the month. Please don’t hesitate to post your comment! Even if you don’t understand a thing of what I’m writing.. let me know! There’s always room for improvement!

The energy of the year 2015 is dominated by the element 3-Wood, so you’ll see this element return in every profile of all months. It’s the element that resides in the first position during the whole year. Only the numbers in the second and third position will vary.
