Time-Map: Nine Star Ki profile of the January Full Moon

The Nine Star Ki profile of the January Full Moon is: 4 – 7 – 2

Big Dipper
Big Dipper

The past few weeks I have been contemplating on whether or not to continue the Time-Map. There was a brief moment in which I considered to quit since it takes up a considerable amount of time, attention and energy to produce these blogs. However much is gained from it too. Not in the least for myself.

I do however like to grow and develop myself; there lies no challenge in repeating the same thing I’ve done for a couple of years now. Besides that, there are a lot of people who post blogs about the Full Moon and the influence she and other planets have on our daily lives. And although I’ve authenticated the Full Moon blogs, I feel I want to take a new and fresh start in the way I share my knowledge with you.

This year the focus of the Time-Maps will be on the Nine Star Ki profile of the Full Moon that is active. It will be a moment in time that I’d like to connect to the Five Elements that are so precious to me and which I work with a lot in my Feng Shui work. These Time-Map blogs will be accompanied by blogs that go deeper into explaining the workings of Nine Star Ki, the archetypal qualities of the Five Elements and how they can be used to understand how the energy of the universe and the earth operate in our lives and influence us.

Now this is an experiment and I really like to hear from you how you receive and experience this explanation of the energetic blueprint that is at work at a specific Full Moon of the month. Please don’t hesitate to post your comment! Even if you don’t understand a thing of what I’m writing.. let me know! There’s always room for improvement!

May this new year be glorious and prosperous to you and your loved ones!

The profile: 4 – 7 – 2

The energy flow of this profile starts in the third position witch is occupied by the element 2-Earth. This position is related to the energy of acting out, of doing things. This means that the energy of this Full Moon has a focus on coming into action, something that wants to become manifest. The way we act out is influenced by the energy of the element 2-Earth that resides in this position and colors it so to say. 2-Earth is the element related to the archetypal life aspect of relationship and to the role of the mother, the woman in your life. So it focus attention on how you nurture yourself for instance and how much you love and take care of yourself. It also throws a light on the way you derive your identity from being in a relationship, from taking care of others and from the comfort your family gives you. If you are a woman, this also puts focus on the way you behave as a woman and/or mother.

Since it is an Earth element dominating this position, there is a tendency to stick to what is safe and known. To stay close to home and the role you took on and to cling to your comfort zone.

Questions that come with this combo are challenging you to look at how these – otherwise – stabilizing aspects in life, now are holding you back from moving on to taking a next step.

The profile: 4 – 7 – 2

From this third position, the energy flows towards the 7 of the element 7-Metal in the second position. This position is related to your inner self, your subconscious and – on a higher level – your soul energy. The way that your inner self and subconscious is expressing itself is influenced by the energy of the element 7-Metal. 7-Metal is related to the archetypal life aspect of children and their creativity in thinking, their focus on individual development and on crossing the borders of the established world they live in.

It is this recalcitrant energy of 7-Metal that receives the flow of energy from 2-Earth in the third position which is controlling your behaviour, reminds you of your responsibilities towards family and partner and therefore limiting you in moving onwards in your life. 2-Earth needs you to stay put and take care of others, to stick to what is familiar and neglect your personal needs. The irritations, the anxiety, the urge of wanting to break free from this limiting energy is something you can experience as causing turmoil on a personal level. You could feel that your soul is entrapped by so much patronizing and smothering energy of which it wants to free itself. It will do so by using the energy of 7-Metal, of the stubborn, recalcitrant child, and act out as you might expect from a child that can’t control it’s emotions (yet). It’ll scream and shout, kick you in the butt and show the best of it’s primitive side. Now that can cause some upheaval. Probably something you are not looking for since 2014 already has caused many of us some serious trouble.

The profile: 4 – 7 – 2

Now, you might think that the 4-Wood element in the first position might offer some relieve. However there isn’t a natural linkage between Metal and Wood, in fact these two elements control each other in a negative way and prevent a natural flow of energy between the two positions they inhabit. This can be experienced as a block or blockage that obstruct the connection between the second and the first position of this profile.

The first position is related to our general sense of knowing who we are and it is expressed in our overal nature and mentality. This position is occupied by the element 4-Wood. This element is related to the archetypal life aspect of wealth. It represents growth, abundance and expansion. Even morse so it represents the ability to share the fruits of ones proces, i.e. that what one has learned from life and all the knowledge that is gathered, in an abundant and altruistic way.

It is very frustrating to know that the possibility to resolve the issue between 2-Earth and 7-Metal is there, however not within reach. That is, not without making a connection between Wood and Metal by using a mediator to smooth the process.

Interestingly this mediator is the element Water, which stands for a shapeless, sensitive, intuitive, shapeless, flexible and very receptive energy. It also is strongly connected to the archetypal Yin energy; to that which is pure feminine from the source.

To (re)connect all the individual elements of this Nine Star Ki profile and to establish a prosperous flow between them, you are asked to open yourself to the characteristics of the Water element. She asks of you to become shapeless, sensitive, intuitive, flexible and receptive for the archetypal Yin, the pure feminine energy that is looking for a vessel so that she can take on shape and form. She is looking for a way to transmit herself into your life so that she can become a nourishing factor for the growth, abundance and expansion of the 4-Wood element in the first position. A position which access is obstructed by this unfortunate blockage between Wood and Metal.

The Water element challenges you to let go of the childish stubbornness with which you try to fight the limiting influence of your comfort zone. Be a dare-devil and dive into her ego-less world of infinite possibilities. A world in which you can connect with the essence of your soul qualities that are reflected in the boundless drops of water you are surrounded with, like the millions of stars that are present in our galaxy and surround our beautiful planet earth. This is not about knowing and relating to every individual drop or star, but about trusting the bigger proces that is at work. Whether that is the bigger proces of the universe we inhabit, or the personal soul agenda we operate on.

Once you’ve overcome this blockage, once you’ve been able to act as a vessel for the Water element, you can enter the archetypal energy of the element 4-Wood. And wealth and abundance, growth and expansion will accrue to you.

    1. Hi,
Thank you, yes, the proof of a true devination system is the similarity in outcome with other devination systems. My intention btw is to write more on Nine Star Ki and how it is used, where the profile numbers are derived from etc.

  1. Thanks Nina, interesting to read. I like it, when one knows that after a challenge there is the “reward”..and 4 wood is a good reward too. So all can benefit.
How long is the influence of the full moon felt?

    1. Hi Manuela,
Thank you for your reaction. Glad you like it. Yes, 4-Wood certainly has the potential for sharing benefits with others.
The influence is depending on the strength of the profile itself, but generally can be sensed about three days prior to the Full Moon and then subsides in three or four days.
      xx Nina

Hi Nina. I just read your blog for the 3rd time, which is what it took to make sense of it as I don,t know anything about 9 star Ki. In the last 3 days I,ve had 3rather spooky happenings around water in the house. The first was that Jeannette,s bathroom door was Unlatched and left wide open,a thing she never does. The second ,yesterday was that a tap in the utility room was turned on full while I was out in the yard and no one was in the house. The third one was that the dishwasher turned itself on this morning, with no one around, and there was nothing in it.I think someone is trying very hard to give me a message about water!! Then your blog is about letting the water element into life at the moment!Synchronicities,or have we got an unseen guest? What do you think?!! Love. Penny

    1. Dear Penny,
Thanks for this interesting message! I most certainly believe that there are unseen guests in your house. The energy of the place is so strong, interesting and vivid, it just attracts all kinds of activity, whether terrestrial or extraterrestrial.
About the water element, now those are some interesting synchronicities! At this point in time when I’m writing this, I know that your career has taken a turn. Finally.
Well, water is related to all kinds of processes related to both career in business as to the career of your life, your life path. Maybe the water incidents happened during the time you decided on the business deal on offer, wrapping up a long working period. Something that can come with a change in identity by which emotions (water) are touched.
My suggestion is to connect with those emotions and let them flow, so that the water tap, nor the dishwasher need to function as a reminder.
      Much love!
      Nina
