Time-Map 2015: Nine Star Ki profile of the July Full Moon

This month we experience a very special Full Moon. Astrologically speaking we’ll experience a historical conjunction of Venus and Jupiter. The two conjoin in a wonderful cosmic dance, visible in the Netherlands in the West, just after sunset. Because of exceptional circumstances, this conjunction only happens once in two millenia, so only once in two thousand year. Reason why this conjunctions already is connected to the Star of Bethlehem and other prophecies.

So it’s kind of a challenge to research if this energy can be recognized in the Nine Star Ki profile of today.

The Nine Star Ki profile of today is: 3 – 1 – 7. It’s characteristics are establishing unparalleled possibilities versus the burden of the past

The elements of today’s profile are first of all 3-Wood of course, the energy that dominates this year, 1-Water and 7-Metal. It is a beautiful profile that has a start of it’s energy cycle in the third position. This position is related to the energy of acting out, of doing things. This means that the energy of this Full Moon has a focus on coming into action, something that wants to become manifest. The way we act out is influenced by the energy of the element 7-Metal that resides in this position and colors it so to say. 7-Metal is connected to the archetypal life aspect Children. This can literally mean your offspring, but also can refer to your inner child and the metaphorical children you put in the world and that can start living their own life, like I experience now I’ve published my new book. I’ve delivered it into the world, the book was born and now it has to find it’s own way into the world. That’s something not under my controle; as like a child, it takes the liberty to move as it fancies. As a ‘parent’ you can only trust that the ‘child’ will reach it’s true destiny. Every child comes into this world carrying it’s own blueprint, orchestrated by the soul, that wants to become manifest. As a ‘parent’ by the way, I’m mightily proud of my newborn. Sometimes we loose track of this blueprint due to obscuring trauma and this can make us infantile and dependant on others. At the same time this blueprint in it’s origine is so pure and authentic, that it is very hard to neglect the influence it has on your life. The big question is wether we choose to use this influence to give direction to our lives, to be able to make choices that support the manifestation of this blueprint in the world, or that we’ve suppressed and ignored this influence and consequently made choices that sabotage realization. Most often the latter is the case; we’ve learned to adjust ourselves to the wishes and rules set by our educators, we’ve learned to obey the tendency to suppress the pain of trauma instead of dealing with it, we’ve covered ourselves with goods and things to create a surrogate feeling of inner peace. Slowly but steady we’ve lost the purity of the naïve, premature and frivolous mind of the child and we lost the direction our life has to take, with it. We’ve unlearned the ability to think out-of-the-box. We have lost the undisciplined, sincere and undefiled mind of the child, because we have become programmed in the preferred adaptation.

The element 1-Water in the second position emphasizes the above; this element is placed in the second position of this profile. The position that is related to the soul. Water is directly related to our source and origine and both these qualities in themselves relate to qualities of the soul. The Water element is closely connected to the hidden world of emotions, trauma and the unconscious; to the monsters that lurk in the depths of our emotional oceans, waiting to grab us and drag us down into the depth. However 1-Water also is connected to the hidden treasure chests that lie dormant at the bottom of that same ocean, filled with vitality, ardor, sensitivity and sensuality that, combined, show themselves as lust for life. The lust to take life as it comes and to enjoy it freely. This however is only possible if there’s nothing obscuring the joy and there is nothing holding us back in old trauma. Water that is obstructed in flowing freely and in moving through life with ease, gets frustrated and troubled and looses direction. If such is the case one often can recognize this in the house as leakage, taps that keep dripping, water appliances like dishwashers and washing machines that operate in a faulty way or drains that get clogged. The course life should take gets impeded.

The first position is occupied by 3-Wood. In my previous blogs I’ve already explained a lot about this element. This month 3-Wood receives it’s energy from the two other elements, respectively 7-Metal that passes it’s energy on to 1-Water which in turn is able to nurture the energy of 3-Wood, like a plant is nurtured by the water it receives. The quality of this Water very much controles the quality of growth of Wood. So in this month, through the element Wood, it becomes visible in which way you were able to pass the qualities of your personal blueprint on to the element Water. The more powerful the connection with your personal blueprint is, the clearer Metal can lead Water in the right direction and create clarity and intelligibility. Metal can make the necessary choices for instance in what works for you and what doesn’t, or by recognizing what you’re good at and what not. Metal continuously asks questions, even awkward ones, and by doing so is able to give directions to your life. This puts a hold on too much versatility that can cause a blurring and dispersing of your life’s path (Career = Water). The inner child  (Metal) that continuously is nagging for attention and puts itself in a childish dependant position towards others, has got stuck in something painful from the past. It therefore loses the ability to ask questions out of wonder and out of a mindset that is able to think anything is possible. This of course won’t help Water to gain clarity but in reverse will focus attention on the monsters in the water caused by traumas in the past, hence creating focus on impossibilities rather then possibilities. So it is a continuous theme to keep on clearing the past, processing and shedding old trauma in order to create an unimpeded flow so Water can move forward and connect back to the authentic flow of your life. It will help you to regain your lust for life!

All this becomes visible in the element Wood in the first position. Because this month this element is nurtured by the other two, the possibility exists that dreams come true, that new ideas arise to solve old problems and to consciously connect with the right people and initiatives so that you can possibly experience a huge spurt in growth of an overflow of abundance. If you’ve done your Metal- and Water-work this will become visible in the quality of growth of Wood. This can be a very liberating experience that immediately offers huge opportunities; this Full Moon is one at which your soul reveals itself in all her majesty, causing an unprecedented moment of inner growth and transformation.

This year the focus of the Time-Maps will be on the Nine Star Ki profile of the Full Moon that is active. It will be a moment in time that I’d like to connect to the Five Elements that are so precious to me and which I work with a lot in my Feng Shui work. These Time-Map blogs will be accompanied by blogs that go deeper into explaining the workings of Nine Star Ki, the archetypal qualities of the Five Elements and how they can be used to understand how the energy of the universe and the earth operate in our lives and influence us.

Now this is an experiment and I really like to hear from you how you receive and experience this explanation of the energetic blueprint that is at work at a specific Full Moon of the month. The energy of the year 2015 is dominated by the element 3-Wood, so you’ll see this element return in every profile of all months. It’s the element that resides in the first position during the whole year. Only the numbers in the second and third position will vary.
